Leafate
FUTURE MATTERS
In this pandemic moment, the FIAP left the box and inspired the students to leave too. It provided an innovative evaluation model, challenging students to solve problems caused by COVID-19.
Due to the increase in the volume of hospital waste, our challenge was to design an autonomous vehicle, the Safety Autonomous Collector, to collect contaminated materials in hazardous environments and transport to an incineration system. However, we don't stop there.
We created the Leafate*, an autonomous wastebasket service that independently takes the waste to an internal center developed by us. In it, there is a separation of trash made by computer vision and sensors. Then, the garbage is forward to our treatment center where we do the necessary treatment for each type of waste, all connected with the latest technologies.
